Birley Sandwiches is a high-end gourmet sandwich cafe from London, England. Birley Sandwiches opened their second location in a small +/- 400 sq. ft. space on California Street in Downtown San Francisco's Four Embarcadero Center.  Valerio Architects collaborated with Bruce Cavell, Birley's corporate architect in London, and the chain's founder Robin Birley, to design and built the new space, and was responsible for Permitting, Documentation and Construction Administration.
