The California Restaurant Association (CRA) is a state-wide trade group which supports the 90,000 eating establishments located throughout the state, striving to ensure the future of the industry by simultaneously improving the restaurant business, and supporting the next generation of food service leaders.
Valerio was engaged in 2001 to vision and design the vacant basement space in their headquarters building in Sacramento, with the objective of transforming it into an area in support of their work. The space as conceived by Valerio included an exhibition kitchen, offices, storage, and a research library.
